Petition to build new street from Brattle St. to Grove St. [Oct. 23, 1872] Arlington Oct. 23rd, 1872 P Do propose and agree to Build a New Street from Brattle Street to Grove Street in a thorough, Substantial and Workmanlike Manner and according to profile and specification of said Street and also I will move all the Surplus Dirt that now layes of Highland Avenue to Said Street and also I will furnish Stone and build two culverts all other Material necessary to Build Said Street be furnished by the town at the loose gravel pitt next to the Sawmill for the Suym of Twelve hundred + fourteen Dollars and if retaining Walls is necessary I will furnish material and Build said Walls for One Dollar and Sixty cents per week.
