Letter written on short side of page and folded in half. Ann Elizabeth Wyman's (mother) letter is on two sections of paper. In letter she tells her son to stay away from wrong doing and that her prayers are with him. She then tells us she is not concerned of his previously being sick because of previous letter. Lastly, Elizabeth Wyman tells her son that her grandmother sends greetings as well as gives brief messages from two of his uncles. The second letter on the opposite side of the page is written from Stephen's sister Sophia. In her letter she specifies her interest in checking in on Stephen and Samuel(last name not listed) and hopes they enjoy their new ship and crew. She then requests for gifts on his return home. The last letter is just a few words by Stephen's brother Oliver who asks for cloth. |
