Long and narrow accordian style folder, with a red cover. There is a picture of a large sailboat on the top of the cover. There is a white ribbon supposed to tie closed, but it is frayed and coming loose. Book is labeled as "982.5. not listed". In the folder is a large number of obituaries, mainly of current or former Arlington residents, dating from 1969 through 1979. Obituaries include Hollis M. Gott, John Nichol Mark, and Elizabeth Smith. Many of the obtiuaries are short notifications of the memorial service, but others include more information about their life and career. Also includes a small number of other clippings, include a celebration of Dr. Herbert Meyer's 80th birthday, and a story about William B. N. Berry, who grew up in Arlington. |
