Dear Son I write that we are all well and I hope that you and your family are well. I wrote to you a few Months ago and I did not know as you got the letter I wrote to have you Come and see me I want to se you you very much Since I met with so much trouble, I wrote to have you Collect that(?) demand Josiah Gould was seing me, as you Said he was a doing well. I wrote a power(?) in that letter for you to Collect the Same, I would inform you that the property in Connecticut State that Jason lives on belongs to the Estate, the whole of it. I gave Jason a lease of the farm five years from the time(?) that your farther died as your farther was acing(?) Some to Jason towards his half of the Place, that(?) is about twelve or thirteen Cleves(?) of the home Place left and the house and place is very much out of repair and I Cannot Repair it, Teel says if you wish to sell you Right in your farthers Estate at a reasonable rate as it is situated now he would trade with you as he lives on the place he has no Encourigement to make Repairs on the place without he Could bye the heirs. out. he will give you all that it is worth, if you have an idea of Selling I wish you would Come home and see what that then is for yourself, if dont you have not any idea of Coming home I wish you would Send a answer by letter if you Come home (?) as I expect to go to Stafford I want you to go with me I am a waiting for you to Come home to go to Stafford with me I Remain Your affectionate mother Eunice Russell |
