Postcard. Spy Pond Field Grandstand. Mark: Addressed to Mrs. Harry Lynde, 155 Highland St., Worcester. Detail: Formerly Hornblower Field. Message on back: This is just back of Dorothy's house. Last Sunday John and I walked around the Pond about 3 miles. Yesterday morning went to see the glass flowers and staid [sic] all the morning. They certainly were wonderful. Best regards to you both. Emma." Reference to Glass Flowers at Harvard Museum of Natural History. Also written "Baker - Spillane 3/13/68" Likely a reference to donor Alice Baker and date donated to Society. |
