The document was written on February 27th by committee-man John Cutter. It is a notice requiring the constable of the northwest precinct of Cambridge, Ephraim Frost Jr., to notify freeholders and inhabitants of the area, who are qualified to vote, to attend a town meeting. The meeting would take place at the meetinghouse on March 12th at 2pm. The tasks required for the meeting were to elect and choose precinct officers for the following year and to grant a sum of money to cover charges arising in the precinct. A response was required on or before the date for the meeting. The reverse contains a short response from Ephraim Frost Jr. that he has notified the proper parties. Dated March 6th. |
