Green toy sled with rope. The sled is made off a flat wooden board and two wooden edges with iron runners underneath. The board is reinforced with wooden bars screwed to the edges. At the front, a hole is made in each edge, and a rope is running through one of the holes. All of the wood is painted a dark green color.

Wheel Winder wood 2 vertical posts with horizontal rod a top (all turned). Between posts is a horizontal spool or bobbin. Simple leaf and flower design in black on round base. Vertical hole drilled through top rod, perhaps for attachment of handle. Presumably wound by crank handle, now missing.

One pair of ice skates Metal blade 10.75 inchrs long. One metal blade marked "SA BK STEEL" Varnished wooden base 10.25" long, leather straps for heel and toe. Two leather straps over toe; one leather strap over heel. Gold metal plates reinforce heel, toe, and ball of foot. Spike at heel holds boot in placre.

1923.1.6 - Winder
1800c American. Wooden "squirrel cage" yarn winder, painted oak and pine -- two cage winder with spindle, much original green paint. Rectangular heavy oak painted base with "H-shaped" attachment. Each cage held together with six dowels and a central removeable dowel which allows movement of cages. Two long side slats each have two sets of nine evenly spaced holes allowing for cages to be moved. Spindle at top with two winding attachments.

Wedding dress of Sarah Johnson, worn September 5, 1782, made of brocaded silk. Yellowed base, with purple and red flowers with blue stems, as well as additional self colored flowers. Main piece has fitted bodice with front closure. Bodice is lined with brown cotton or linen. Half length sleeves with ruffle and lace on cuffs. Trimmed with cord where bodice attaches to skirt. Skirt goes around front and sides, with pinked edges around front opening...
