Description |
A photograph of the Arlington House (with "Cooper Tavern" painted on the side- site of Cooper Tavern but not original building). Snow's Ice Cream is on the bottom floor of the building, while there are real estate offices on the floor above. Next to it there is a bakery storefront called "Reed's" (?). A street sign to the right marks the street as Medford St. It also marks 1 mile until West Medford, 2 1/4 miles until Medford, and 4 1/4 miles until Malden. There is also a commemorative stone marking in front of the original Cooper Tavern Building, and a monument can be seen in the background to the right. On the bottom of the photograph, it reads "Photo Underwood & Underwood, N.Y." which is presumably the studio that took the picture. |
