Card 5.5" X 3.5" L X H, image is of Robbins Spring Hotel, Arlington Hts, Arlington, Mass. Back of card is blank, no message, no postmarks, no address. Pub. by Boston Post-Card Co., 12 Pearl St. No. 733. Card is in excellent condition, no rips or tears. Edges are slightly worn but barely noticeable and a small round stain is vaguely visible on front of card. Hotel was located at 90 Robbins Road, opened in 1898 as the Robbins Spring Nest, became a resort when the "annex" was built in 1899 (the gambrel-roofed building). Was home to Marycliff Academy from 1913 to 1948. |
