Description |
Several Boston Elevated Railway cars at the North Carhouse in Arlington Heights, 1937. The most visible of the cars has a central entrance. Some of the cars appear to be hitched together in groups of 2. Cars have numbers in the 6000 and 7000 range. There is snow on the ground and the carhouse is in the back left. on back is written:"Boston Elevated Railway cars waiting patiently at the North Carhouse,Arlington Heights,1937 ." and at bottom "N. carhouse 1937. present bus STD(?) Paper feels more like normal paper that photograph paper. |
