Description |
World War I military button, Imperial German Prussian uniform button, possibly from an officer's uniform. Imperial German eagle, with outstretched wings, wearing a tall crown, the eagle holds a sceptre and orb in its talons. All imperial iconography. Made of a kind of grey alloy, maybe zinc, plated in brass. Small loop soldered on the back of the button, with metal ring passing through the loop. Round metal uniform button found at German Prison, Soissons 7/8" |
