World War I Hand Grenade with metal screw top lid and red painted metal "pineapple" segmented metal base. Etched in segments on base "44 +" and a diamond-shape. Attached paper tag "919.3.105 Rifle Grenade" French and American Rifle Grenade with a pineapple shape from Dead Man's Hill near Verdun. Grenade has been determined to be safe to store. See Notes |
