Description |
A traditional Finnish Knife known as a "puukko". "Made in FInland" engraved on the right side of the blade. Other illegible and hard to make out engravings on the left side and fullers. Narrow steel blade, with a slightly upturned point, deep fullers on each side of the blade, a short bevel. and pronounced ricasso. The handle is a composite made from different materials, a metal collar that covers the top of the grip, a blue (plastic?) handle piece sandwiched between some synthetic? spacer material. The handle has a metal horse head pommel. Possibly made for the tourist market. |
