Description |
28.875' flip iron used at Tufts Tavern. Flip iron has 7.5" simple handle which has slight point on bottom. Immediately after handle there is two ridges/indentations. First being a bump that gets wider than stalls with a small ring above, and the second smaller ridge with two rings surrounding them. There are two sets of a series of four bumps. The first set is 7.25" away from the handle, and the second is 16.25" away from the handle. In the series, the first three get progressively larger in size, and the fourth is smaller than the last indentation. The middle two ridges have small rings above and below them. After, there is approx 1.5" of plain iron rod where there is another indentation and the end of the flip iron. The flip iron's end has a approx 2" wide knob, which is shaped like a decagon. The knob has a small point on the very end, like the handle. The knob is the same as the Stand 1907.1.9. This flip iron was used warm flip at the Tufts Tavern. Item is rusted, but stable. |
