paper money - Confederate, 10 dollars Confederate Series 4/6/1863, second series No. 78222A Condition- good size 3 x 7 1/8" blue reverse This Confederate Ten Dollar bill (no. 78222A) was printed on April 6, 1863, but stamped on November, 1863. The front side contains an image of the South Carolina state capitol and the bottom right hand corner contains a portrait of confederate Senate Pro Tempore Robert M.T. Hunter. The back side contains ten Roman Numeral X's arranged in a unique diagonal pattern. |
