Description |
Pierced tin and wood foot warmer. Wooden frame with four turned corner posts, one bar across top, and wire handle. A second bar appears to be missing. Pierced tin central box consisting of one piece of tin wrapped around for all three sides and separate tops, door, and bottom attached. Hinged door has small curled handle that can be twisted to open or close the box. Pierced in circular pattern on all four sides, rectangular pattern on top. Four heart patterns on each corner of each side pressed into tin (not pierced) Tin appears to have been painted silver at one point. Used by Jarvis Family when they went to church - John Jarvis family of 50 Pleasant Street |
