    Tan cotton gown embroidered with red and green wool on bodice and hem. Long sleeved with high waist. Sleeves have a slight puff with fullness gathered at top. Bodice is significantly larger in front than back. Bust has two cups. Skirt is flat in front and gathered in pleats in back Wide hem. Made of sturdy cotton. Includes short sleeveless jacket in same fabric with similar embroidery around edges. Supposedly worn 1812.
